重视环境保护 建设绿色矿山
洛阳开元矿业集团有限公司作为一家有社会责任感的企业，为切实履行保护和改善生产环境与生态环境，消除或减轻在生产经营活动中对环境产生的不良影响的职责，我们承诺在矿山生产过程中会严格遵守国家环境保护法律、法规、标准；严格污染控制，持续改善环境质量；引进和推广资源利用率高、污染物排放量少的清洁生产工艺和技术；合理开发和使用自然资源，持续推进“三废”治理和综合利用；推行先进的管理模式，持续提升环境管理水平；实施可持续发展战略，走新型清洁化发展之路。
1、环保宗旨：
坚持“绝不能以牺牲环境和人的健康为代价从事生产”的理念，重视环境保护和环境改善，坚持发展循环经济，推进生态文明建设，打造绿色花园式矿山企业。

学习借鉴国内先进矿山企业在矿区环境治理方面的先进工作经验，坚持“科学管理、协调发展、合理利用、综合防治、以防为主、持续改进”的治理方针。严格控制污染物的排放，杜绝环境污染与生态破坏事故，持续改善环境质量。
